VIN – Decoding Interest is renewing

Several inquiries for decoding VIN’s recently has renewed my interests in creating a database to handle multiple permutations of a make/mode/year. Now if I can find time between school, work and family then I will accomplish what seems as an insurmountable task to decode as many as possible.

It’s been a while but I started a database that would be able to handle it, however what it is missing is data. Some manufacturers treat the content as proprietary making it difficult to decode.
